This morning a few of my yoga students were discussing a new class that was recently added to the schedule at one of the clubs I teach at.
“Apparently she’s really good,” I told the group after class based on the rumour mill. It was true, I did hear great things about it.
“She is good,” said one student. “But not as good as you.”
She whispered that last bit.
“My ego thanks you!” I replied giggling then continued…
“That’s just it, how do you know what it is you enjoy if you don’t try going to lots of classes with different teachers.”
And I truly do believe this.
It’s so like all parts of life. To get really clear on what we want and where we are going, we need to explore variety.
May your day be filled with options to help you discover what it is you want!
Om Shanti
PS. Speaking of great teachers, I just picked up “30 Essential Yoga Poses: for beginning students and their teachers” by Judith Lasater from the library. It is a must read!!!
